Commercial Electricians 

Swift River Electrical Corporation is looking for several, full time Electricians.
  • Jobsites are located in York, Lancaster, Harrisburg and surrounding areas.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience and be able to work alone, with other team members and on occasion, with an apprentice.
  • Must have your own hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to complete tasks from a Foreman and perform duties without further direction.
  • Must be skilled in installation, reading comprehension, active listening, troubleshooting and equipment selection.
  • Must have knowledge of building and construction, mathematics, production and processing, design, public safety and security.

Description: Commercial Electricians are responsible for repairing, connecting, installing and maintaining electrical equipment, cables and wiring. They must follow blueprints in determining the location of the equipment and wiring to ensure that building and safety codes are followed. They may install or service streetlights, electrical control systems or intercom systems and connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers or other types of components. Ability to install pipe using hand, cyclone or hydraulic benders and wire pulling with correct circuitry, high voltage and low voltage or use of a cable tugger are also common tasks.

Construction Laborers

Swift River Electrical Corporation is looking for several, full time Construction Laborers.
  • Job sites are located in York and surrounding areas.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • No experience is needed but experience in skilled trades are welcome.
  • Personal Tools are not required.
  • Must be able to physically perform all tasks and lift up to 25 pounds if necessary.

Description: A Construction Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at buildings, heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations and demolition sites. A Construction Laborer may operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

Swift River Electrical Corporation is currently hiring FULL-TIME and PART-TIME Landscapers and Landscape Helpers!

  • No experience is needed, on the job training will be provided!
  • Job locations are in York, PA and surrounding areas.
  • Tools or equipment is not required.
  • Swift River Electrical Corporation offers very competitive pay and several other benefits.

Description/Duties:  Operating landscaping equipment (which is provided), mowing, weed whacking, trimming bushes/trees, etc.
